Early College High School

Freer High School has a Texas Education Agency designation for Early College High School (ECHS). ECHS is innovative in its nature because it allows students least likely to attend college an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and 60 college credit hours. ECHS provides dual credit at no cost to students, offer rigorous instruction and accelerated courses, provide academic and social support services to help students succeed, increases college readiness, and reduces barriers to college access.
